About Alchemyriddle

Alchemyriddle is a curious magical text written on the subject of alchemy. By deciphering Alchemyriddle, you can progress the story, gain access to new areas, and acquire new recipes.

Reading Alchemyriddle

When you first open Alchemyriddle, you will see the below contents page.

From the contents page you can chose to display either main pages or secondary pages of the book.
The text on each page can be deciphered by acquiring hidden keywords.

Main Page Entries

Deciphering these will allow you to progress the main story, while unlocking new recipes and gathering areas as rewards.
The icon to the left of each entry indicates the type of reward available, while the icon to the right indicates the keyword acquisition conditions.

Secondary Page Entries (Basic)

Deciphering these provides various rewards, but since they have no influence on the story, they can be tackled at any time.

Secondary Page Entries (Advanced)

These will be unlocked after you clear the Basic Pages. The text will be more difficult to decipher than the Basic Page entries, but the rewards available include rarer and more exclusive items.

Note: Secondary page entries can be deciphered at any time, even those from chapters which have not yet been accessed. Until certain progress has been made in the story, however, they may be too difficult or involve materials or items that cannot yet be acquired.

Chapter Completion Rewards

These rewards can be obtained by deciphering all of the pages in a chapter, both Basic and Advanced pages. Rewards can be of many types, including EXP and new recipes.

Page Main Text

Red text is used for hints to acquire keywords, blue text is for already acquired keywords, and green text is for important information for the deciphering.

Explanation of the keywords necessary to decipher the passage. They also function as hints to acquire keywords.
