Battle Flow

When you win a Battle, you can obtain materials and Ether (EXP).

Battle Start

If you bump into an enemy, a Battle will begin.
If you attack an enemy with a Field Attack you will start the battle with 1 Fairy Rank already accumulated.
Also, if you bump an Enemy Horde, several nearby enemies will Battle you at once.
When you win a Battle, you can obtain materials and Ether (EXP).

Victory Requirements

You will win if all enemies' HP is reduced to 0, and you will lose if the HP of all your allies, including those on Standby, is reduced to 0.
If defeated, you will return to the last Campfire you rested at.

Attack Cycle

Attacking will deal damage to enemies.
The cycle is: "Accumulate SP with Regular Attacks," "Use SP to activate Skills," "Use SP to increase Fairy Rank," "Increasing Fairy Rank increases both SP limit and maximum value (Accumulate lots of SP with repeated use of Regular Attacks)."

1Active Party Member Info

HP (Yellow Bar) If this reaches 0, you will be knocked out. If all of your allies, including those on Standby, are knocked out, you will lose.
Awakening Gauge (Orange Circle) This accumulates when you attack enemies or use Skills. The Awakening Gauge will also carry over into the next Battle.
When the Awakening Gauge is completely full, you can trigger Awakening.

2Enemy Info

HP (Purple Bar) This decreases when you receive damage, and when it reaches 0 you will be knocked out.
Break Gauge (Yellow Bar) Depleting this will cause the enemy to Break. While in the Break state, the enemy will be unable to move for a certain period, and the damage they take will increase.
Risk Gauge (Yellow Rhombus) This appears when an enemy is preparing a powerful attack.
When the Timer (Purple Circle) is completely full, you can use a powerful attack.

3SP

This accumulates through Regular Attacks. SP can be used to activate Skills.

4Fairy Rank

By cooperating with allies and by consuming SP, your gauge will fill up, and your Rank will increase. Each time it accumulates, SP received from Regular Attacks will increase, and the maximum SP will also increase.
Your Fairy Rank resets at the end of each Battle.

5Battle Command

Regular Attack A basic attack. SP is accumulated by Regular Attacks.
These can be activated up to 3 times consecutively. (With the exception of some Characters, where the use of Magic Origins can increase the maximum to 5).
Skill To use a Skill, SP will be consumed.
Action Gauge (Yellow Circle) When this is full, you can act. The time it takes for the gauge to fill up is determined by the Character's Speed.

Ether

When you win a battle, all characters on the team earn Ether.
Accumulate Ether to increase Origin Rank The character's stats will improve and Origin Points will be earned.
