Five Phases Affinities
All Wizardry Spells are associated with one of the Five Phases and have different affinities.
When an enemy either uses a spell, gains a positive effect, or inflicts a negative effect on you, you can nullify it by using a spell with the right affinity from among the Five Phases.
In the same way, enemies can nullify your spells and positive/negative effects, depending on their Five Phases affinity.

Note: To see the details of Divine Beasts' effects, go to Set Divine Beast from Battle Preparation.

Spur your allies on by expending Spirit. They will then perform different actions depending on their Five Phases affinity.
For example, an Earth Phase ally will perform a Martial Arts attack on an enemy targeting you, making them the target instead.
