Marching
When your soldiers and supplies are prepared, send your units to attack another clan.
Target
When you set a target, land holders in the area will stop development tasks and other civil affairs projects to begin militarization. Once militarization has been completed, those units will gain the concentrate condition, a temporary boost in strength.
Select Military > Castle Role > Target from the command menu.
*If no land holders are appointed, a county representative will march instead. County representatives do not perform militarization.
*Set capture targets by selecting an enemy base from the map and accessing Military > Target.
Effects of Militarization and Concentration
- Officers in the surrounding counties will stop performing civil duties to begin militarization.
- When a unit has completed militarizing, it will attain the concentrate condition, giving it a temporary boost in strength.
- Provisions are increased.
- You will receive submissions aimed at weakening the target's military force.
*Concentration is indicated by theicons. The number of counties that have completed militarization will be displayed numerically.
*The concentrate condition is removed after the unit returns to its home castle or after a certain period of time has passed.
March Screen
Select Military > March from the command menu to prepare for a march.
When you select a target (castle, unit, etc.), each castle will organize its unit, and the road each unit will take will be displayed. Aside from the direct route, a dispersed route will sometimes be suggested.
You can also change which units are organized. After selecting Confirm, the units will march from their castles.
Provisions will be consumed each day a unit marches.
*When you attack a clan with higher prestige, your units will be enfeebled, decreasing their abilities.
*If a unit is on one of your clan's castles, it will consume supplies from its home castle instead of the provisions on hand.
*Your units and domains are displayed in blue, enemy clans are red, and allied clans are green.
Unit | The soldier counts of castle units and tribe units. Available tribes will automatically send reinforcements. |
---|---|
Provisions | The number of days provisions will last. When the number reaches 0, soldier count will begin to decrease. |
Scheduled Arrival | The number of days until the target destination will be reached. |
Province War Tactics
War tactics will be suggested by other provinces. On the march screen, select the province tab to execute a province war tactic.
The type of war tactic suggested depends on the officer.
Organization Screen
On the march screen, select a unit and then organization to make changes to the unit.
The lord will become the unit's leader, and their abilities form the base for the unit's abilities.
You can change which land holders from that dominion will join the march. Adding officers with higher abilities than the unit leader's or who have a positive affinity with the unit leader will strengthen a unit more than if the unit leader marched alone.
*If the lord is not marching, the next officer at the top of the list will act as the unit leader.
Defense | Determined by the officers' LEA. Decreases damage taken by the unit. |
---|---|
Attack | Determined by the officers' VAL. Affects damage inflicted on enemy units and on enemy castles when storming. |
Blockade | Determined by the officers' INT. Affects damage inflicted on enemy castles when blockading. |
Provisions | The number of days a unit can actively march. When provisions run out, the soldier count will gradually decrease. |
Cavalry LV and Musket LV | Increasing cavalry LV and musket LV will give units the chance to perform a powerful attack when at war with an enemy unit. During battles, this attack is guaranteed to be performed when encountering an enemy unit. Attack power increases in proportion to the LV, increasing considerably at LV5 and LV10. Cavalry LV and Musket LV can be increased through town facilities, policies, traits, major settlements, and conservator traits. The maximum LV is generally 9, but certain clans can issue special policies to increase the maximum to 12. |
Traits | Traits held by officers. When multiple officers have the same trait, its LV increases up to 5. When an ability is 80 or above or 90 or above, the level of the corresponding trait gets +1 or +2 respectively. |
