Winner Announcement

Acknowledgment
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants worldwide!
We received far more submissions than anticipated, and the abundance of outstanding ideas meant we needed more time to select the winners. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.

We selected the winning entries after thorough discussions among the development team and stakeholders. From each contest region (Japan, Asia, North America, and Europe), we were impressed by the diverse and unique scenario ideas, many of which shared similarities despite originating from different parts of the world.

For instance, scenarios such as "succession disputes or internal conflicts within major powers like the Three Kingdoms or Yuan Shao" and "the rise of forces like Sun Jian, Lu Bu, Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu, or the Yellow Turbans" were prevalent. So, this time, the winning entries also incorporated such elements. Additionally, there were many "what-if" scenarios, such as "What if Guan Yu escaped Maicheng?" or "What if Xun Yu served Liu Bei?" as well as unexpected ideas about the rise of specific characters like Liu Feng, Lu Lingqi, and Wei Feng, which surprised us.
These ideas will serve as valuable references for future series development.

Once again, we extend our gratitude to all participants and fans. Below are the three winning entries. We will strive to create scenarios that meet everyone's expectations. The winning entries will be released as free DLC, so please look forward to them!
Winning Entries
Three x Three Kingdoms
Winner: Kanpachi (Japan)
Winning Entries
Description (organized based on the participant's comments)
What if Cao Ang survived and a succession conflict arose in Wei? What if Sun Jian and Sun Ce lived longer and vied for leadership with Sun Quan? What if the brothers of the Oath of the Peach Garden —Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei— had a falling out? The Three Kingdoms of Wei, Wu, and Shu are fragmented into multiple forces and battle each other!
Development Team Comments
This idea stood out the most among the many submissions centered on internal conflicts within forces. While the development team also had similar concepts, this particular scenario never came up, so its uniqueness surprised us. The eye-catching title was another reason for its selection.
The Tiger and the Flying General Advance on Central Plains
Winner: Zhan (Asia)
Winning Entries
Description (organized based on the participant's comments)
Sun Jian defeats Liu Biao in their battle, claiming Jingzhou and allies with Yuan Shu to prepare for a campaign into Zhongyuan. Meanwhile, Lu Bu defeats Dong Zhuo and Li Jue, recruits Jia Xu as his strategist, and gains control over the Chang'an region. The rise of the Tiger and the Flying General leads to a completely different struggle for dominance in the Central Plains!
Development Team Comments
Although many submissions featured Sun Jian's rise, this particular entry caught our attention. The idea of Jia Xu serving Lu Bu is intriguing, which may mean different rivalries between warlords than we're used to seeing.
Romance of the Four Kingdoms
Winner: Jose (North America & Europe)
Winning Entries
Description (organized based on the participant's comments)
After defeating Lu Bu at Xiapi, Cao Cao chose to spare him. With Lu Bu's support, Cao Cao overcame Yuan Shao and other rivals, unifying northern China. However, in 208, as Cao Cao prepared to march south, Lu Bu betrayed and assassinated him. This betrayal led to the division of Wei into two factions: one under Lu Bu and the other under Cao Pi. Meanwhile, Sun Quan and Liu Bei seized the opportunity to rise, resulting in a four-way struggle for dominance!
Development Team Comments
While many submissions centered around Lu Bu's rise, this proposal stood out. The idea of Cao Cao recruiting Lu Bu is not uncommon in "what-if" scenarios. Still, the twist of Lu Bu betraying Cao Cao at such a pivotal moment made us exclaim, "That timing of betrayal is so Lu Bu!"
