Introducing the “Arena” and “Encounter Quests!”
BURLINGAME, Calif. – Jan. 31, 2025 – Today, KOEI TECMO America are pleased to announce that starting today, the third round of additional downloadable content (DLC) for the action RPG “FAIRY TAIL 2″ , is available!
In the bonus feature: “Arena”, also included in the season pass, you can take on the strongest enemies from the game once again in “Rematch Mode”. The “Arena” DLC also introduces “Trial Mode”, enabling you to battle against team combinations fans of the anime always dreamed of, which can only be challenged in this game. For example, the combination known as “Calamity and Despair”, is made up of the most powerful wizard king “August” and the Scarlet Despair “Irene” from the Spriggan 12.
Victory in the “Arena” rewards players with event scenes of the participating characters celebrating while also adding the ability to repeatedly challenge the new modes to improve clear times!
Bonus Quest: “Encounter Quests”
A free update has also been added giving four characters — “Jellal”, “Lyon”, “Kagura”, and “Makarov” — additional “Encounter Quests”.
Enjoy fighting dark guilds alongside Jellal or visit places important to Zeref and Mavis in original events only viewable in “Fairy Tail 2”!
Future updates for the bonus feature, “Arena”, and the bonus “Encounter Quests” are also planned for later this year, so please stay tuned for additional details.
In addition, a special edition is also now available exclusively through the NIS America store. The “FAIRY TAIL 2 GUILD BOX” edition includes the base game, the visual artbook “Sorcerer Magazine Special Issue: Game Release Edition Vol.2” inspired by the “Sorcerer Magazine” as seen in the original work, a Special Shikishi with Holographic Finish (three types in total), and more.
