Getting Started: Steam® Code

Steam® is a PC game platform managed by Valve Corporation. It is free to install.

- An internet connection is required to install Steam® client and/or start the game.

Steam® Installation and Steam® CD Key

Before installing the Windows® version of the game, please install the Steam® client and create a Steam® account. You will also need to read and accept the License Agreement.
You will then need to enter the Steam® CD Key. If you have purchased the physical version of the game, the CD Key will be written on a card under the heading "Steam® CD Key (Product Code)." If you have purchased the digital version of the game, the CD Key will usually be included in an email you received from the vender.

Starting the Game

To run the game, you will need to log in to the Steam® client and confirm your license.

Warning about Reinstallation

If you reinstall the game after having saved the game with the Steam® Cloud function disabled, you will be unable to load your saved data.
To ensure that your saved data is carried over when reinstalling the game, check that the Steam® Cloud feature is enabled, then launch the game to sync the Steam® Cloud before uninstalling.
