Hints for Strategy
1. Prioritize the seizure of Catapult Bases
Catapult Bases will automatically attack the enemy's bases.
Prioritizing their acquisition will give you an advantage in capturing bases.
2. Use Accompany and Secret Plans in battles
Approach an allied officer and select "Accompany" using the d-pad, and your Military Unit will change to the accompanying officer's Military Unit.
In addition, they will come equipped with Secret Plans such as the ranged attack Incinerate and health recovering Make Camp.
When battling enemy officers, make sure to use an accompany unit with an advantageous Army Affinity, and use Secret Plans effectively.
*Army Affinity: infantry < cavalry < archers < infantry
3. When enemy officers gather, aim for a different base
If an area with a high concentration of enemy military strength is forcefully attacked, not only will it take a long of time but affect other situations negatively, so focus on attacking areas with weaker enemy military strength and turning the battle situation in your favor is a key to victory.
4. Use Trigger Attacks and Guard Counters
Trigger Attacks are attacks in which you can send even the most powerful enemies flying into the air or fall backwards. You can charge such attacks by holding down the button for a certain amount of time to increase their power.
When guard against an attack, the Reactive Attack mark will appear enabling you to activate a Guard Counter which will greatly reduce the enemy's break gauge.
In order to quickly defeat enemy officers, charging up Trigger Attacks and using Guard Counters will be more effective than just repeatedly pushing the attack button.
